Meet Dr. Chase Bixenman
Dr. Chase Bixenman is a chiropractor dedicated to helping patients move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they enjoy. His approach combines chiropractic care with functional movement training and a variety of soft-tissue techniques to create individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, reducing discomfort, and supporting long-term function.
Originally from Amarillo, Texas, Dr. Chase earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Texas A&M University in 2014. While completing his undergraduate degree, he worked as a nursing assistant and phlebotomist in a local emergency room. His experiences there encouraged him to explore conservative and non-surgical approaches to healthcare, ultimately leading him to the chiropractic profession.
Dr. Chase moved to Buffalo, New York, in 2014 to attend D’Youville College, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree after four years of study. Following graduation, he returned to Amarillo and opened Evolve Chiropractic in July 2018. In late 2019, he merged his practice with a local pain management physician, allowing him to provide care in a multidisciplinary setting and gain valuable experience working alongside other healthcare professionals.
Since graduating from chiropractic school, Dr. Chase has continued expanding his clinical skills through training in functional movement, dry needling, myofascial cupping, fire cupping, kinesiology taping, and movement-based rehabilitation. These tools allow him to address a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns while helping patients understand how their movement patterns may contribute to pain, stiffness, weakness, or recurring injuries.
After relocating to Western North Carolina, Dr. Chase joined Family Circle Chiropractic and had the privilege of caring for patients throughout the Waynesville area. With Family Circle Chiropractic now closing, he is excited to begin the next chapter of his career by opening a new practice where he can continue serving both established and new patients in the community.
Dr. Chase is also currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Western Carolina University and is expected to graduate in December 2027. His nursing education continues to broaden his understanding of patient care, health conditions, and the connections between the musculoskeletal system and overall wellness.
Outside the office, Dr. Chase enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, exploring the mountains, camping, hiking, and taking advantage of the many outdoor activities Western North Carolina has to offer.
